Jelly Roll is on such a roll in his weight loss journey that he’s looking ahead to the next goal.
More than a month after sharing that he’d dropped 120 pounds, the “Wild Ones” singer signaled that he wants to showcase his body transformation on the cover of a magazine. And he even set himself a time limit to reach that milestone.
“I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health,” Jelly Roll said on the Dec. 15 episode of his wife Bunnie XO‘s Dumb Blonde podcast, as seen in a preview posted on her TikTok, “by March of 2026.”
Bunny exclaimed, “Let’s go!”
Her husband continued, “That’s my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations.”
Days before the episode was released, the 40-year-old—whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord—showcased his latest body transformation onstage at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, where he performed his single, “Liar.”
The “Son of a Sinner” singer—who has struggled with his weight and with food addiction for most of his life—said on Instagram in October that he had lost 100 pounds. In November, he announced on the Pat McAfee Show he was down 120.
“I did this publicly for a reason,” Jelly Roll said about his weight loss journey on Dumb Blonde. “I want to be honest about my struggles with it with people.”
The two-time Grammy nominee said he wanted to chronicle his weight loss journey publicly because he wants to “bring people along” with him.
“What I want the world to know and I want the people to see, Bunny, is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight, I became successful in spite of it,” he added. “I somehow managed to be this successful carrying 550 pounds. That’s insane.”
